Vitality ease past TYLOO in Beijing

Vitality got their IEM Beijing campaign off to a flying start after taking down home side TYLOO in a quick two-map series.
The French team will move on to Group B winners' match to face the red-hot FaZe on Friday after a one-sided affair against TYLOO. The Chinese side were not able to get into double-digit territory on either map, and the scoreline could have been even more severe on Inferno had Vitality not lost both pistol rounds.
TYLOO secured an early lead on Inferno, their choice of map, but Vitality took the game by the throat once they had money to work with. The Frenchmen kept their opponents at bay for the remainder of the half as they cruised to an 11-4 lead, with TYLOO's two gun rounds coming off of big plays by Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand, who racked up 14 kills on the Terrorist side.

A flawless CT side pistol with three quick headshots by YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng still gave TYLOO some respite, but just like in the first half, Vitality were in control in gun rounds. Richard "shox" Papillon killed off the home side's comeback hopes at 13-7 with a 1v3 clutch on the B site, setting his team up for a convincing victory.
Vitality kept the pressure on heading into Dust2 and won their first pistol round of the series and the following two to storm into a 3-0 lead. TYLOO then enjoyed their best period of the whole series as they strung five rounds together with a solid defensive effort, but the French side came fighting back towards the end of the half to grab a 9-6 lead.
Cédric "RpK" Guipouy kicked Vitality further into the lead with a trio of USP kills in the pistol round. That marked the beginning of a dominant period from the French side, who would win seven consecutive rounds, the last of which courtesy of a quad-kill by Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut with the AWP, en route to a dominant 16-6 success.
